How to Install Your Microbubble Showerhead

How to Install Your MIZSEI Showerhead

Simple 4-Step Installation Guide - No Plumber Required

Installation time: Approximately 5-10 minutes
Difficulty level: Easy - No special skills required
What's included: Showerhead, hose, shower holder, pressure regulating valve

Tools You May Need

  • Adjustable wrench or pliers (for tightening connections)
  • Teflon tape (if water leaks occur)
  • Clean cloth (for cleaning pipe threads)
1

Remove Your Old Showerhead

Unscrew the existing showerhead from the shower pipe by turning it counterclockwise. Use a wrench if it's too tight, but be careful not to damage the pipe threads.

Once removed, clean the pipe threads thoroughly with a cloth to remove any old debris, mineral deposits, or old tape. This ensures a proper seal for your new showerhead.

2

Attach the Pressure Regulating Valve

In most cases, the pressure regulating valve comes already attached to the shower holder. If it is already attached, you can skip this step and go to Step 3.

If the valve is not attached, screw the pressure regulating valve onto the shower holder. The valve is designed to adjust water pressure and prevent damage to your showerhead.

Important: It is recommended to install the valve between the pipe and the shower holder for optimal performance.

3

Install the Shower Holder

Screw the shower holder (with the valve attached) onto the shower pipe. Turn it clockwise and hand-tighten it firmly. If needed, use a wrench to secure it, but avoid over-tightening which could damage the threads.

Connect the Hose and Showerhead

The hose has two different types of nuts:

  • Hexagon nut (one end): Attach this to the shower holder
  • Round nut (other end): Attach this to the showerhead handle

Screw both connections hand-tight, then use a wrench to tighten them securely until there is no water leakage.

💡 Installation Tips

  • If the showerhead protrudes too far from the wall after installing the valve between the pipe and holder, you may install the valve between the shower holder and the hose instead.
  • Always hand-tighten first before using a wrench to avoid cross-threading.
  • Test for leaks by running water at low pressure first, then gradually increase.

⚠️ If Water is Leaking

If you notice water leaking at any joint:

  1. Turn off the water and use a wrench to tighten the valve or connection until the leak stops
  2. If the leak continues, wrap teflon tape clockwise around the thread before reconnecting the parts
  3. Apply 3-4 wraps of teflon tape for best results
